Cons are for Cosplayers now. They’re not for selling comic books.
People can buy your books year round on the internet. If they want to talk to you they can tweet to you or post on Facebook.
In the past it was the only way to meet your favorite creators, but now with technology that’s all different. It’s silly to wait at a booth all day, with boxes of books, and hope to be recognized or talked to.
For Comic Book creators cons are for networking and getting face time with folks which is all fine and good.
People go to conventions, usually with a set budget. They don’t want to be carrying books around all weekend when they buy them year round.
People shouldn’t be too upset if there’s not high traffic at their booths or book sales at a con.
Getting angry and scapegoating Cosplayers as the reason you didn’t sell books at a show is L-A-M-E.
Hello. BIG fan. Seriously. Drove every customer crazy at the comic shop talkin about this book. But then it just dropped off the face of the planet. I know you get this alot but WHAT HAPPENED???
We’re still working on ‘Gladstone’s School for World Conquerors’. The second book is finished and colored and lettered and the third book is finished on art, and is halfway through colors. Eventually, the new books will go to print as Hardcovers.
where can i buy Gladstone's School for World Conquerors Book 2: The Battle of the Superhero Archives? Is it out there yet?
It’s just digital for a while, until we build up enough material. We have Gladstone’s on Patreon which we’re trying to get everyone on board with so we can hopefully, pay costs and create the book as our main jobs for a while.
